Our Team

Pauline Blakely a professional ABO certified optician. She is an experienced professional who loves to educate patients about their optical needs and options.

Pauline is passionate about her career choice in the optical field thus sharing the vision of the future of Golden Triangle Optometric Center with Dr. Lori Bende. Pauline enjoys attending educational seminars to stay current on the latest frame styles and the newest technology on lens materials. She is currently studying to be a master optician.

Desiree joined Dr. Bende's team on July 01, 2008. She graduated in 2006 from the University of California, San Diego with degrees in Human Biology and Psychology. While in college, she has worked in various optometric practices throughout San Diego.

Desiree enjoys working with patients and is looking forward to helping you with your optical needs. She hopes to someday work as a health professional and possibly as an optometrist.

Laila has been with our team since November of 2009 as an experienced Optician. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in Political Science. During her time at UCLA, Laila built her passion and knowledge of Optometry by working with various Optometrists. She has remained dedicated to her profession by attending Ophthalmic Assisting classes at UCSD's Shiley Eye Center and various continuing education seminars throughout San Diego.

She enjoys helping patients select fashionable yet practical eyewear to meet their optical essentials. In the future, Laila plans to remain involved in health care by studying to become a Physician's Assitant.

Wendy has been in the optical field for 5 years. She loves working with people.  She is devoted to the optical field and has accomplished becoming a certified Optician in spring of 2010. She continues to further her education by attending seminars and classes. Currently she is attending classes at the Shiley Eye Center. She is studying to sit for the State Contact Lens Certification Exam. (NCLEC).
